What can I say about this place? But Fantastic!! I had a cluster gauge that was badly pixelated. I tried and failed to repair it myself, then i saw Bavtek online, I spoke with Thomas, he assured me he can fix my mess. So said so done, within a week i had my repaired cluster back. Absolute professional service and i highly recommend them.

My pixel display was so far gone I couldn’t tell anything apart on my screen. Sent it in and within 5 days I had it back without issue. Not only do the pixels work better than ever before but the upgrades I got bring the car to a new level. Also the pricing is very reasonable because of the pure quality and efficiently this company offers.

I can't say enough about this repair service! Totally fixed like new at a fraction of dealership cost. I was skeptical and afraid i would be disappointed but NO these guys are the real deal everything flawless. Especially like the extra fixes at no additional cost.

Very professional and easy steps to follow to get my dash out to them. The result is a dash that no longer says "ASTlN EAl ELT" and looks great. Wish I could post pictures of the results. Quick turn around and was back in my car in no time.
And to anyone who is researching or contemplating swapping dashes, just send it to these guys and be done with it. Its not worth swapping or DIY, you could get the Mileage Tamper Dot or accidentally break your dash -

Extremely pleased with this service - excellent customer service, simple process, quick turnaround AND LIGHTS! I got a quote for around $450 to have my spedometer cluster LCD lights repaired. Of course they would take the dash apart and do all the work - but I found that at least for my E39 525i it was VERY EASY to get at the cluster, disconnect the wiring bundles and ahip to BAVTEK for repair. Highly recommend doing yourself and using BAVTEK for the repair.

Pixels on the instrument cluster of my 2001 E39 were dimming and failing after 120,000 miles. I "put Up" with it until 130,000 mile marker. I thought about replacing the magic pixel ribbon myself. After some thought I figured the ageing small bits and pieces would make the project tedious at best and disastrous at worst. Then I discovered BavTek's services. One word described by experience with them:
WOW!!!!!
Videos showed how to make removal of the cluster simple. Shipping from SC to CA was easy and the return was just fine. After re-installation I was indeed correct: bits and pieces from the surrounding bezel (the cosmetic plastic 'frame' holding the cluster had parts that disintegrated with age. What to do? I called BavTek and they passed me the correct replacement part number and even a source to get a new bezel.
In short: Service was EXACTLY as advertised and the consultation was friendly and thorough. Now, how often in today's world does that happen?
I send thanks and five stars and a hearty 'Well Done"! to Bavtek. -

Faded Pixels.
An essential part that seems to be problematic on the E39 series.
Sent it out to this company and it was repaired with a next day turn around.
Cluster was restored to its original condition. Great job!

I had my pixels on my E39 instrument cluster repaired. Before I could not read any of the display. Now it works perfect!
